Chisos Oak

Chisos Oak is a rare and elegant native oak found naturally only in the remote canyons of the Chisos Mountains and Big Bend region of Texas. Its slender, willow-like leaves are unlike those of any other oak, giving it a refined, delicate appearance that sets it apart in the landscape. Growing 20–30 feet tall, it develops a graceful, open canopy well-suited to the thin limestone soils and dry conditions of its native range.
